The ceremonial gala for the presentation of the INNOVATION Innovation Award of the Neisse-Nisa-Nysa Euroregion was held on November 30 at the Brunów Palace. The awards were presented by three Presidents – Petr Skokan (Czech Republic), Günther Vallentin (Germany) and Piotr Roman, who currently serves as President of the Euroregion.
As every year, an expert committee composed of representatives of the Czech, German and Polish sides evaluated entries submitted in three categories: Best Private Public Partnership (Best public-private cooperation), Best Partnership (Best cross-border cooperation) and Best Innovation (Best innovation).
In the first of these categories, the Bolesławiec-based company Villa Ambasada - Piwnica Paryska was recognized. Bogusław Nowak's company received second prize in the Best Private Public Partnership category for cooperation with Bolesławiec County in organizing cultural events and promoting French culture. The laudation for Bogusław Nowak's company was delivered by Dariusz Kwaśniewski, a member of the Bolesławiec County Board, who presented the company's activities and briefly described the cooperation between them.
Villa Ambasada was one of three Polish companies honored during this year's edition of the Innovation competition. In the Best Partnership category, first prize went to Zakłady Metalowe Ładziński from Jelenia Góra, while in the Best Innovation category, first place was won by Edward Rzeźwicki's company, owned by the proprietor of Brunów Palace.
