On Saturday, BKS hosted Polonia-Sparta Świdnica at the stadium on Spółdzielcza Street. It was a clash between the fourth-tier runners-up and league leaders. Bolesławiec took the initiative from the opening minutes. The referees also made controversial decisions from the very start. Questionable offside calls and fouls effectively halted our team’s dangerous attacks. Despite this, Bolesławiec had the advantage. They had more possession and took several dangerous shots. Łukasz Rudyk, Chrystian Serkies and Paweł Rissmann all tested the Świdnica goal.

The visitors did not threaten the BKS goal until the 26th minute. Maciej Bielski headed wide. A minute later, Bolesławiec responded with a shot by Chrystian Serkies, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball. In the 29th minute, BKS created the most dangerous chance of the first half. Marek Kumoś crossed from the left side of the pitch. Paweł Rissmann headed the ball, but it flew just over the crossbar. In the 44th minute, our team conceded what is known as a goal just before halftime. Janusz Gol beat Marek Przykłota.

BKS began the second half with bold attacks, but in the 51st minute the visitors extended their lead. Arkadiusz Felich finished a one-on-one opportunity against the goalkeeper, making it 2–0. From that moment, the visitors gained confidence. The refereeing style did not change either, further benefiting the away side.

Bolesławiec fought hard and left spaces at the back, which was exactly what the players from Świdnica had been waiting for. In the 62nd minute, following an error by Mateusz Janczyszyn, Arkadiusz Felich scored again. Despite conceding three goals, BKS continued to attack bravely. In the 68th minute, Marek Kumoś struck a powerful low shot, but the Świdnica goalkeeper was not caught off guard. Six minutes later, Chrystian Serkies was fouled in the penalty area. Łukasz Rudyk confidently converted the penalty.

The fourth-league match between the runners-up and the league leaders ended with a 4–1 victory for the latter. The margin of defeat could have been even greater if not for the performance of our goalkeeper. Marek Przykłota saved several dangerous shots from the visitors. After 16 rounds of matches, Bolesławiec dropped from second to third place in the table.
