On Friday, Civic Platform senator Stefan Niesiołowski visited Bolesławiec. The politician came to our city at the invitation of the Bolesławiec branch of Civic Platform. Civic Platform senator Tomasz Misiak and Civic Platform MP Beata Sawicka also came to the meeting with Bolesławiec residents. The three encouraged the residents of our city to vote for Cezary Przybylski in the upcoming elections.
The meeting began with a brief speech by Bolesławiec's candidate for parliament, Cezary Przybylski. The Bolesławiec county head spoke about why he had decided to run for parliament. As he explained, he has extensive experience working in local government and wants to use it in his work for Bolesławiec County. He listed three specific problems he wants to address: the construction of a second bridge over the Bóbr River, the resumption of copper mining in Bolesławiec County, and the construction of a network of vocational schools. As Cezary Przybylski stressed, all three tasks are important locally and regionally, and even beyond the region. Drivers travelling through Bolesławiec are stuck in traffic jams. A copper mine would boost the economy of the entire region, while other counties as well as Bolesławiec County would also participate in building the network of schools.
After Cezary Przybylski's speech, Beata Sawicka, Tomasz Misiak and Stefan Niesiołowski spoke in turn. “Bolesławiec deserves a representative in parliament. Cezary Przybylski is the best candidate from this area,” said Beata Sawicka. Tomasz Misiak drew attention to the congested roads of Lower Silesia. He encouraged people to vote for Cezary Przybylski, who as an MP could help, among other things, integrate all of Lower Silesia and develop the road network. Stefan Niesiołowski commented on the political situation in our country and answered numerous questions from Bolesławiec residents. In Niesiołowski's opinion, the upcoming elections will answer several questions: how should politics be conducted in Poland? Should Poland move towards the West or in the direction of Belarus? Will people want to stay in the country, or will they continue fleeing to other European Union countries?
Senator Niesiołowski made no secret of being a staunch opponent of Law and Justice (PiS), but he did not consider it justified when one of the Bolesławiec residents said that PiS could be called “PZPR bis.” At the end of the meeting, Stefan Niesiołowski appealed for votes for Cezary Przybylski and readily posed for commemorative photographs. After the meeting, Senator Niesiołowski and Senator Misiak visited Piwnica Paryska.
