Cezary Przybylski’s official election campaign began on Sunday, September 23. The date was not chosen by chance. September 23 also marked the second anniversary of the founding of Piwnica Paryska. It was there that Bolesławiec’s Civic Platform officially presented its candidate. In a brief speech, Cezary Przybylski presented his election platform.

The Bolesławiec candidate for parliament wants copper ore mining to resume in our county. Przybylski also announced the construction of a second bridge over the Bóbr River, as well as a connection between the motorway and the special economic zone in Gromadka. To this end, an access road to the motorway should be built in Gromadka municipality.

Przybylski also spoke about an opportunity for our region to develop. The revival would come through the establishment of a processing industry. In the Bolesławiec candidate’s view, it is essential to create economic conditions in the region that would mean young people did not have to leave the country.

Cezary Przybylski also spoke about making better use of EU funds, creating a single vocational education network and developing rural areas. The parliamentary candidate referred to his extensive experience working in local government.

Given that Bolesławiec has not had its own member of parliament for many years, taking part in the upcoming election is the only chance to change this unfavorable situation. Paradoxically, in the city and county of Bolesławiec, many voters cast their ballots for politicians known from national media. Votes cast for candidates from outside Bolesławiec send politicians from Legnica, Jelenia Góra and Wrocław to parliament. From the perspective of the local community and its interests, this choice is not beneficial. Members of parliament from Jelenia Góra or Legnica primarily advocate for the interests of the cities they represent. Cezary Przybylski is a local politician who, in the 2005 election, defeated the leader of the Civic Platform’s Lower Silesian list, Grzegorz Schetyna, in Bolesławiec County.
