Four people injured – this was the result of two accidents that occurred on road No. 4. On Saturday morning, near Tomaszów Bolesławiecki, the driver of a Fiat Tipo failed to yield the right of way and caused a collision with a Mercedes Sprinter. One person was injured in the accident. The person was taken to a hospital in Bolesławiec. The Fiat driver was drunk (2.5 per mille of alcohol).
Late in the evening, also on road No. 4, the driver of a Lancia was overtaking improperly and cut off the driver of a Renault 19. The Renault driver tried to avoid a collision, lost control of the vehicle and swerved into a ditch. Three injured people were taken to hospital. The driver of the Lancia did not stop at the scene of the accident.
