On Sunday, BKS Automatyka Bobrzanie Bolesławiec played a match against Włókniarz Mirsk. The Bolesławiec side began the game with: Tomasz Rodziewicz, Tomasz Łojewski, Zbigniew Szurgot, Sebastian Dymek, Adrian Markowski, Sławomir Szewc, Jarosław Janczyszyn, Marcin Kozioł, Radosław Szajwaj, Adrian Kulesza and Mirosław Markowski.

For the first few minutes, both teams battled in midfield. Sebastian Dymek took the first shot at the Włókniarz goal from 20 metres, but it was off target. In the 12th minute, Radosław Szajwaj delivered a free kick. Adrian Markowski headed the ball, but it flew over the crossbar. The visitors responded in the 23rd minute with a dangerous shot by Rafał Apolinarski, but BKS goalkeeper Tomasz Rodziewicz caught the ball confidently. Just a minute later, the Bolesławiec side had another good chance to score. Unfortunately, Sławomir Szewc headed the ball straight into the visiting goalkeeper’s hands. In the 31st minute, the fans saw a repeat of the move from the 12th minute. Radosław Szajwaj passed to Adrian Markowski, and the ball again sailed over Włókniarz’s crossbar. BKS had the territorial advantage late in the first half, but could not score.

The Bolesławiec side learned in the 38th minute that missed chances can come back to haunt you. Jarosław Dubiel converted one of the visitors’ few attacks and Włókniarz took the lead. Four minutes later, after confusion in the visitors’ penalty area, Mirosław Markowski made no mistake with a loose ball and beat the goalkeeper from Mirsk with a fine shot into the top corner. The 1–1 score did not last long, however. Just before the break, Jarosław Dubiel restored the visitors’ lead. The goal came from a free kick taken near the corner of the penalty area. It was unclear whether it was a direct shot or a cross into the box. The ball bounced in front of Tomasz Rodziewicz and went into the net.

The Bolesławiec side began the second half strongly. In the 47th minute, Mirosław Markowski shot toward the near corner from a tight angle, but the goalkeeper managed to tip the ball behind for a corner. In the 54th minute, Sebastian Dymek, after an individual run down the right, struck powerfully, but the visitors were saved by the post. In the 63rd minute, the BKS goalkeeper saved Jarosław Dubiel’s shot after he had missed a one-on-one opportunity. In the 69th minute, Sebastian Dymek was fouled in Włókniarz’s penalty area. The referee awarded a penalty to the Bolesławiec side. Tomasz Łojewski took the spot kick, but the visiting goalkeeper saved it. However, the referee ordered the penalty to be retaken, claiming that the visiting players had entered the penalty area too early. Włókniarz’s players protested, trying to persuade the referee to reverse his decision. The referee remained unmoved. This time, Jarosław Janczyszyn stepped up and confidently beat the visiting goalkeeper.

Late in the match, both teams tried to turn the result in their favour. In the 80th minute, a visiting player hit the BKS crossbar. In the 85th minute, Sebastian Dymek missed a good chance. The Bolesławiec player shot wide in a one-on-one situation with the goalkeeper. The score did not change, even though the Bolesławiec side played with a one-man advantage in the second half. BKS Automatyka Bobrzanie Bolesławiec drew 2–2 with Włókniarz Mirsk.

The BKS players shown yellow cards were: Tomasz Rodziewicz, Sebastian Dymek, Jarosław Janczyszyn and Mirosław Markowski. The match was officiated by Łukasz Nalepa, Piotr Bajer and Mieczysław Szuba from the Jelenia Góra Referees’ Department. After six rounds, BKS Automatyka Bobrzanie Bolesławiec are ninth in the regional league table.

BKS’s first team defeated Pogoń Oleśnica 3–2!

Good news came from Oleśnica. BKS won 3–2 away against local side Pogoń. The goals for our team were scored by Paweł Rissmann (48th minute, penalty), Łukasz Rudyk (54th minute) and Paweł Rissmann again (58th minute). After the match in Oleśnica, the Bolesławiec side moved up to second place in the fourth-division table.
