On Saturday (11 August), BKS Bobrzanie Bolesławiec’s first team will begin its football campaign in Bolesławiec. At 5:00 p.m. at the stadium on Spółdzielcza Street, our players will face Nysa Zgorzelec in a local derby. In their last match, which concluded the previous season, BKS drew 1–1 with Nysa. No fan needs convincing that derby matches “have their own rules.” The BKS Bobrzanie players will certainly want to win. A large crowd could help them, because footballers play for the fans. We therefore invite everyone to Saturday’s match. The match promises to be interesting, especially as it will feature new players signed by the club during the summer break.

3–2 for the Bolesławiec side in friendly matches

In July, BKS Bobrzanie Bolesławiec’s first team played several practice matches. The Bolesławiec side defeated Czarnych Lwówek Śląski (5–1; BKS goals: Jarosław Naskręt 3, Paweł Rissmann 1 and Marcin Ogórek 1), Czarnych Żagań (2–1; both BKS goals were scored by Łukasz Rudyk) and Łużyce Lubań (4–0; BKS goals: Tomasz Jasiński 1, Chrystian Serkies 2 and Tomasz Krzywonos 1). Our team lost a demonstration match played during a football festival to I-league Cracovia Kraków (0–4) and also lost to Arka Nowa Sól (0–2).
