This year’s artistic commissioner is Kacper Kuźnicki, a graduate of the Wrocław Academy of Fine Arts. Anyone wishing to meet the artists can do so on 4, 7 and 11 August at 6:00 p.m. at the Pegaz club. Admission is free. On 18 August, in the afternoon, an artistic happening will take place in the city centre during the Bolesławiec Ceramic Festival.
The International Ceramic and Sculpture Symposium is known in the United States, Argentina, Germany, Taiwan—in short, throughout the world. In 2004, the symposium received the Lower Silesian Key to Success, awarded by the Association for the Promotion of Lower Silesia. The event was recognised in the category: "Best cultural institution, cultural or educational initiative".
