The festival will begin next Tuesday, July 10, at the municipal stadium on Spółdzielcza Street. All fans will surely be thrilled by the news that the renowned KS Cracovia, the oldest continuously operating sports club in Poland, will come to Bolesławiec. What is more, two teams—GPK Gorzów Wielkopolski and BKS Bobrzanie Bolesławiec—will face the football legend. This will be an excellent opportunity to see Bolesławiec’s footballers in action. And all of this... for free.
But that is not the end of the attractions. The festival will open with a match between BKS oldboys and a team of councillors and VIPs! Adults will also be able to take part in a draw for attractive prizes. These will include, among other things: a Celtic Glasgow football, shirts, caps from the ING Renault F1 Team, and many, many other prizes. The youngest fans will not complain about boredom either—the festival organizers have planned face painting, games, competitions, balloons, sweets and lots of gifts for them.
The event will begin at 4:00 p.m. Admission is free! The proceeds from the festival will support the activities of the new BKS Bobrzanie club, which, also thanks to the support of Bolesławiec fans, has a chance to achieve a great deal. Boleslawiec.org, the event’s media patron, has supported major initiatives in our city for years and is keeping its fingers crossed for the new football club’s continued success.
Telewizja Lubań-Bolesławiec is also a media patron of the event.
