The Meteorological Forecast Office of the Institute of Meteorology and Water Management reports that moderate to severe storms are expected, particularly in the basins of the Lusatian Neisse and Bóbr rivers and in the Sudetes. Hail is possible. The storms will be accompanied by strong, gusty winds. Expected effects: local flooding, transportation difficulties, damage to cars and buildings, roofs being torn off, damage to crops and woodland, and even a threat to life caused by lightning strikes.
