The downpour began on Sunday afternoon. It was so sudden and intense that the storm drains could not keep up with the water. The result? Streams of dirty rainwater flowed through our city streets. The newly built underground passage near the PKP railway station was flooded. Travelers returning to Bolesławiec often chose the shorter route—across the tracks—to avoid soaking their footwear. Basements in a tenement building on Kubika Street were inundated. Below, we present a video sent to us by our Reader, Tomasz Łukaszewski.
