Bolesławiec resident Krzysztof Jasiński took fourth place at the Polish Junior Olympic Taekwondo Championships. In January, we reported that Jasiński had qualified for the Junior Taekwondo WTF Voivodeship Team.

The young athlete has been training for seven years at the ILYO Bolesławiec Students' Sports Club under the guidance of Mariusz Sulma.

His father, who also trained in his youth, got him interested in taekwondo. At the championships, the 14-year-old was eliminated in the quarterfinals after losing to the current Polish champion. As the young athlete himself says, taekwondo training gives him “fitness” and “well-being”.

Both children and young people train at the ILYO Students' Sports Club. This week, two female athletes and one male athlete from UKS are traveling to Lublin for the Polish Youth Championships. We wish them further success.
