After 3 p.m., residents of Wybickiego Street noticed a child sitting on the windowsill of a third-floor apartment in a tenement building. The situation was extremely dangerous. One of the women realized that the child's father was in the courtyard and ran to get him. The man managed to rush into the apartment in time and remove his one-and-a-half-year-old daughter from the window.
An ambulance, the police, the fire department and the municipal guard arrived at the scene. According to the neighbors, the child's family is dysfunctional. Apparently, the girl had already once been taken away from her parents. It is possible that this will happen again.
If the prosecutor's office determines that the father left the child unsupervised, it may charge him and seek a sentence of up to three years in prison.
