Last season, coach Marcin Sobczyszyn led the team to the third-league runners-up title and promotion. He will also take charge of the newcomers. Damian Śliwiński has been appointed assistant coach and will be responsible for the players’ physical preparation and recovery. The club is gradually finalising its squad for the upcoming season. The second-league team will be based on players from the previous season. In addition, two players on loan from Ikar Legnica have joined the team from the city of ceramics: setter Jakub Koncewicz and middle blocker Filip Michalewski.
– The team is preparing at facilities in Bolesławiec. Two or three weeks of hard work in August should prepare the players well for the friendly matches, representatives of Bolesławieckie Towarzystwo Siatkarskie say. – On 3 September, the “Elektryczni” will take part in a friendly tournament in Żarów. There will also be individual friendly matches against teams from the region.
The goal for the coming season? A place in mid-table and comfortably securing the team’s position in the second league. Let us recall that BTS Elektros have been assigned to Group IV. Its line-up is as follows:
