The incident occurred on Monday after 9:30 p.m. on Staroszkolej Street. Two waste-segregation containers were burning: one for paper and one for plastic. Firefighters extinguished the fire, but neither container is fit for use anymore.
Interestingly, a city surveillance camera is installed right next to the rubbish bin, and there was a sign on the bin informing people about it. The sign was burned, as were the containers. On Tuesday it will become clear whether the camera recorded anything.
