On Tuesday (9 August), the BKS senior team played another friendly match. This time, Tomasz Fulczyński’s players faced fourth-tier newcomers Apis Jędrzychowice away from home. The friendly ended in a heavy defeat for our team. Bolesławiec lost 2–9. The goals for our team were scored by: Łukasz Graczyk (penalty) and Tomasz Fulczyński. Apis’s goals were scored by: Dominik Szydlarski (3), Dariusz Bryjak (2), Łukasz Kusiak (2) and Dawid Więckiewicz (2).
The team from Jędrzychowice played better, made fewer mistakes and took advantage of more opportunities. The fact that the opponents were stronger is demonstrated not only by the fact that they will play in the fourth division in the season about to begin, but also by the fact that their squad includes players with third- and fourth-tier experience. Meanwhile, the revitalized BKS team, being built from scratch, will compete two divisions lower and has only been training for two weeks. Nevertheless, Tomasz Fulczyński’s players did not limit themselves solely to defending, but took on the stronger opponents. They demonstrated their ambition with two goals. It is a shame there were only two, because there were several more good opportunities to score. Unfortunately, precise finishing was lacking. BKS – Apis Jędrzychowice 2–9.
BKS will play its next friendly match on Friday (12 August). Our team’s opponent will be Skora Jadwisin, from the Legnica A-class. The match will be played at the stadium on Spółdzielcza Street in Bolesławiec. Kick-off is at 6:30 p.m.
