It is now almost certain: Bolesławiec—following the example of cities such as Żory and Lubin—will introduce free urban public transport. It is also known when this will happen—in January 2018. What do you think? Is this a good move by the city authorities? We invite you to take part in the poll.

Let us recall: we recently reported that there is a problem with parking in the city. What could solve it? More paid-parking zones in the city centre, which city officials are already considering, as well as free urban public transport.

It is worth adding that there are 50,000 cars in Bolesławiec every day. “We have very precise data on the number of cars in Bolesławiec,” P. Roman said in February this year. “There are [dane z 23 lutego – przyp. „ii”] 33,608 cars registered by Bolesławiec residents, nearly 5,000 of which are lorries. If we add the several thousand cars that enter our city every day, we have approximately 50,000 cars in Bolesławiec each day.”
