We have good news for football and BKS Bolesławiec fans. After a six-month break, the senior team is returning to competition. As we read on the profile of BKS Football Academy:
We are delighted to announce that, after a six-month break, BKS Bolesławiec’s first team is returning to Poland’s football map!
Under the applicable regulations, BKS Bolesławiec’s first team, after withdrawing from the 2015/2016 season, can currently start in a league two levels lower—that is, in the “A” class—and that is what will happen! The team’s main objective is to promote young players and enable their further development.
The BKS senior team’s coach is former BKS player — Tomasz Fulczyński. The first training session will take place on 19 July at 6:00 p.m. at the municipal stadium on Spółdzielcza Street in Bolesławiec. Meanwhile, the first matchday will be played by the Bolesławiec team as early as mid-August. Their opponent will be LKS Kraśnik Dolny. Anyone wishing to join BKS is invited to training sessions!
We will provide information about the squad, friendly matches and the club’s plans in subsequent updates. Today we can reveal that BKS fans will see many familiar faces in the team.
