The fire affected an area of approximately 20 square metres, including part of the wall adjacent to the terrace. This triggered the fire protection system and the evacuation of customers and employees of the Bolesławiec City Center Gallery. Fire engines from the Bolesławiec Fire Service took part in the firefighting operation, arriving at the scene within a few minutes of the fire alarm being activated.
The firefighting operation ended after approximately one hour, followed by the cleaning of the building and preparations to reopen the Gallery, which resumed normal operations at around 17:00 that same day. The detailed causes of the incident will be established by an investigation conducted by the relevant services.
We would like to thank all our customers who took part in the evacuation for their cooperation. At the same time, we are pleased that no one involved in the incident—customers, employees of the Bolesławiec City Center Gallery, passers-by near the Gallery or firefighters—suffered any injuries.
