Competitors took part in the supersprint, sprint and Olympic-distance events. In the sprint event, in which participants had to swim 0.75 km, cycle 20 km and run 5 km, 200 athletes started, including nearly all of Poland's leading competitors.
Among this select group, 17-year-old Klaudia Petters from Bolesławiec performed very well Klaudia Petters, winning first place in the junior category (ages 16–19) and taking an impressive seventh place in the open category.
Thanks to her excellent form, Klaudia qualified for the European Triathlon Championships, which will take place from May 26 to 28 in Portugal's capital, Lisbon.
