In Sunday’s match, the Bobrzanie senior team faced opponents from Łąka. The match was played at the MOSiR stadium on Spółdzielcza Street. The hosts started the match with: Walski (Dymek), Szurgot, Markowski, Wojdygo (M. Kozioł), Zaraziski, Solecki, Soroka (Szewc), Fulczynski. The hosts’ first goal, following a cross and a header flicked on by Dymek, was scored by Fulczyński, a player signed by the club during the winter break. Shortly afterwards, Markowski doubled the lead to 2:0 with a shot from 20 metres. Despite further attacks by Bobrzanie and attacking moves by the visitors, the score did not change before half-time.

The second half was more difficult for Bobrzanie because they were playing against the wind. At the beginning of the second half, after Dymek fouled an opponent in the penalty area, Łąka converted the “penalty”, scoring a goal to reduce the deficit. Long balls “with the wind” and the visitors’ distinctly attacking approach brought another goal and made it 2:2. Bobrzanie’s situation became dramatic when Dymek received a second yellow card for simulating a foul and, consequently, was sent off.

After Dymek left the pitch, the hosts’ coach Rutkowski decided to make substitutions. K. Kozioł, Niziałek and Rutkowski himself came onto the field. Bobrzanie’s subsequent attacks produced the desired result, and the Bolesławiec team scored the eagerly awaited winning goal. Dominik Soroka beat the visiting goalkeeper by lofting the ball beautifully into the net. A few minutes later, Niziałek found himself one-on-one with Łąka’s goalkeeper, but missed by centimetres. Referee Rościszewski’s whistle brought the match to an end. Bobrzanie defeated KS Łąka 3:2. In their next match, Bobrzanie will play away against Iskra Łagów.
