On Saturday, TOP Ekoceramika Bolesławiec played an away match in the II league of table tennis. Their opponents were LZS SKS Raszówka. It was a match between the second- and fourth-placed teams in the table. The match began with TOP leading 3–1, but the next doubles games were controlled by the hosts. After them, the scoreboard showed a 3–3 draw.
The next games were played by Łukasz Jaźwiec and Leszek Goliński on the first table, and Jarosław Girulski and Zbigniew Mojski on the second. Jaźwiec won his game 3–2, while Girulski lost 1–3, bringing the score to 4–4. The last matches, between Robert Girulski and Marek Cholewa, and Tomasz Fortunko and Zbigniew Cerazy, decided the outcome.
Thanks to strong performances from the Bolesławiec players, both matches were won. Girulski won 3–1, while Fortunko won comfortably, 3–0. The entire match ended with a 6–4 victory for Bolesławiec. TOP’s points were scored by: Łukasz Jaźwiec 2, Tomasz Fortunko 2, Robert Girulski 1, and Jarosław Girulski 1. TOP Ekoceramika have not yet lost a match in the second round of the II league table tennis competition and confidently hold second place. The final league match will take place on Saturday, 31 March, at 5:00 p.m., in the hall on Komuny Paryskiej Street. Our team’s opponent will be table leaders Gorzovia Gorzów Wielkopolski.
