During the renovation of the market square, the vessel-monument was placed in the green area behind the Museum of Ceramics on Mickiewicza Street. Unfortunately, it did not remain there for long. On Wednesday morning, only shattered fragments remained of the pot.

Even if nobody had destroyed the pot, it would have been removed from the market square and placed in the Museum of Ceramics after some time anyway. Many people did not like it, including its creator, Władysław Garnik. A faithful replica of the famous Joppe pot was supposed to be installed in the market square, although some people said there was no point in spending money on a new sculpture. Now the problem has, in a way, solved itself.
