Another edition of Miss Polonia in Lower Silesia has begun. To enter the competition, participants must be at least 18 but no older than 25. Only unmarried and childless women may compete for the title. A candidate must not have tattoos. Thursday's casting will be held at the Bolesławiec Cultural Centre at 4:00 p.m. Contestants must bring a two-piece swimsuit. Unfortunately, their charms will be seen only by the competition jury.

The most beautiful woman from Bolesławiec, along with 14 of her competitors, will take part in the regional final, which will be held on 15 May at the Jelenia Góra Theatre. If she wins, the path to the Miss Universe and Miss International titles will open up before her. Since 2007, the winner of the Miss Polonia competition has not been eligible to compete for the Miss World title. The first finalist was selected on Monday in Zgorzelec. She was twenty-year-old Anna Dymacz. Yesterday, the candidate from Jelenia Góra was scheduled to be selected. Last year, the Miss Polonia title went to Marzena Cieślik from Wolin.
