Our heroine usually dressed simply and comfortably, but in pastel and banal clothes. She wanted to discover which outfits and colors suited her, stand out, and experience the adventure of discovering herself anew.
Agnieszka Mertuszka is 26 years old and lives in Ławszowa. She took part in Istotne Makeovers because she really wanted to find out which outfits would look best on her. She was most looking forward to Dominika’s advice, but while the program was being recorded, something else surprised her—something she discovered during the makeover prepared especially for her.
Dominika Menegoni, who selected the outfits on behalf of BC Center Gallery, assessed that Agnieszka has an apple-shaped figure: a medium-sized bust, no defined waist due to a protruding belly, and massive thighs. Good advice for people with this figure is to avoid, like the plague, baggy clothes that do not emphasize the silhouette.
At the hair salon, Aneta Jakieła suggested a new “long bob” hairstyle for Agnieszka, as well as a nourishing treatment ideal for her hair. For her triangle-shaped face, the hairdresser left her bangs because they add charm to the face, but shortened Agnieszka’s hair so that the hairstyle would emphasize her personality, highlight the oval of her face, soften her features, enhance her appearance, and make her look younger. The “long bob” hairstyle is currently fashionable. It has been worn by, among others, Kim Kardashian and Joanna Krupa. An additional advantage of this cut is that it is easy to keep the hairstyle in good condition for a long time.
Karolina Hertman described Agnieszka’s skin as prone to oiliness around the nose, chin, and forehead. She focused on moisturizing the face, which prepares the skin well for makeup and helps colored cosmetics stay on the face all day. Agnieszka’s face needed to be mattified and moisturized. Karolina contoured Aga’s face, emphasized her cheekbones, narrowed her nose with shading, and showed how quickly all of this can be done at home.
