This is the series of ceramic bas-reliefs “Rainbow Worlds”, created during last year’s workshops at the Bolesławiec Cultural Centre–International Ceramics Centre. The work was created by children and young people who took part in workshops involving the production of ceramic bas-reliefs in which colour played the leading role. – The subject matter of the classes during last year’s winter holidays focused on issues related to the form of the ellipse and its transformation – inform Edyta Orlińska and Mateusz Grobelny, instructors at BOK-MCC.

The finished work is the main decoration in the office of the president of Bolesławiec. On 4 February, the authors of the artistic installation and their guardians were invited by Piotr Roman and were able to admire their work at the town hall. The young artists presented their works and described the creative process in detail. This year’s participants in the art workshops entitled “The Sea Illuminated by Thousands of Colours” also took part in the meeting.
