– For yesterday’s “Fakty TVN”, I made a short feature about Artistic Ceramics, whose products often appear in Polish TV series – says journalist Andrzej Stefańczyk. – Until yesterday, it was not known which factory had made the ceramics shown in the film “About Time”. As it turns out, for many film producers, Bolesławiec ceramics are all one and the same, but the companies that produce them see fundamental differences.
As Helena Smoleńska, president of Artistic Ceramics in Bolesławiec, told “Fakty TVN”, products made by this company often appear in TV series such as “Klan”, “M jak miłość” and “Barwy szczęścia”. – Naturally, we recognize our products – the president said in a conversation with A. Stefańczyk. – An employee who spends eight hours a day working with a product, decorating it or creating its form, is able to recognize it flawlessly by its shape and type of decoration.
Blogger Katarzyna Antończyk noticed Bolesławiec ceramics in the film “About Time”, directed by Richard Curtis, the creator of “Notting Hill” and “Love Actually”. And it turned out that it was indeed a product made by Artistic Ceramics.
– The producers do not ask for permission, but we do not hold it against them, because it is advertising for us – added H. Smoleńska.
