Ørganek is a quartet named after its leader and author of the music and lyrics, Tomasz Organek, whose debut album (“Głupi”, Mystic Production 2014) clearly dominated the Polish music market, achieving gold record status. The winner of numerous awards, including Mateusz Trójki 2014 and the Grzegorz Ciechowski Award 2014; he was nominated for a Fryderyk Award in 2015 and was a leading participant in Poland’s largest festivals, including Męskie Granie 2014 and 2015, Warsaw Orange Festival 2014 and 2015, and Przystanek Woodstock 2015.
The quartet’s live music escapes the unambiguous rock arrangements featured on the album “Głupi”, pushing the band more towards a spectacle in which improvisation and uninhibited stage expression attract ever-growing numbers of listeners seeking what is unique, free and genuine.
