In the first set, the players coached by Marcin Sobczyszyn defeated the team from Góra 25:13; in the second, they won 25:15. In the third set, complacency crept into the visiting team’s ranks. What is more, the Bolesławiec coach gave the substitutes a chance to play. Unfortunately, the hosts won that set 25:21. Fortunately, in the fourth set, “Elektryczni” once again overpowered their opponents, winning the set 25:12 and the entire match 3:1.

After this match, BTS Elektros have two more away games ahead of them. The first—on 16 January at 11:30—will be against Gwardia Wrocław. In the second match, on 23 January, the Bolesławiec team will face a team from Bierutów, currently the table’s second-placed team.

Our volleyball players will appear before their home crowd on Saturday, 30 January. That day, “Elektryczni” will host a team from Milicz. The match—exceptionally!—will take place at the Municipal School Complex No. 2 sports hall on Jana Pawła II Street in Bolesławiec. The match will begin at 15:00; admission is free. “Whether the BTS Elektros senior team will play its subsequent matches in the municipal sports hall depends on the City of Bolesławiec, which is currently considering bids for the performance of a public task,” says Jacek Łuczkowski, president of the Bolesławiec Volleyball Association.
