Snow will begin falling on Tuesday evening. Meteorologists warn that there may be a lot of it at times. Between 15 and 25 cm of snow is expected. Snowdrifts as high as 40 cm may even form. In the Sudeten Foothills and the Sudetes, the expected increase in snow cover will be between 30 and 45 cm, locally around 60 cm. The snowfall will continue until the evening hours on Wednesday.
At the same time, meteorologists are warning of strong winds. Moderate, at times fairly strong, winds reaching gusts of 16 to 20 m/s will occur, causing snowstorms and blowing snow.
