The matter was raised by Forum councillors’ club chairman Dariusz Filistyński:
I am asking the mayor to improve lighting at the pedestrian crossings near the petrol station and on Wesoła Street, where a female pedestrian was recently hit, as well as at the crossings on both sides of the intersection of Wesoła Street and Dolne Młyny Street.
The councillor added that fatal accidents had also occurred at this location in the past.
Bolesławiec Mayor Piotr Roman: “I fully agree; this intersection needs better lighting. We have managed to improve lighting in many places in Bolesławiec, and this will be the next one.”
