On Friday, Klub Bobrzanie celebrated its 35th anniversary. To mark the occasion, an International Indoor Football Tournament was organized for boys born in 1995 and later. Fourteen teams (160 young footballers) competed for the Mayor of the City Cup and the Polish Football Association Cup. The following teams took part in the tournament: Amica Wronki, FSV Budissa Bautzen, Górnik Polkowice, Czarni Lwówek, Górnik/Zagłębie Wałbrzych, Wratislavia Wrocław, Wiko I Wrocław, Wiko II Wrocław, Chrobry Nowogrodziec, Włókniarz Mirsk, UKS Gryfów Śląski, Gol Jelenia Góra, UKS Kusy and Bobrzanie Bolesławiec. The matches were played in two groups, in the sports halls at I LO and Primary School No. 1.
In the semifinal matches, Wiko I Wrocław lost 0:1 to Górnik/Zagłębie Wałbrzych, while Górnik Polkowice drew 1:1 with UKS Kusy. Penalties decided who would advance to the final, with Polkowice defeating UKS Kusy 4:3. In the match for third place, UKS Kusy lost 0:6 to Wiko I Wrocław. Górnik Polkowice won the tournament after a closely fought match, drawing 0:0 with Górnik/Zagłębie Wałbrzych and then winning 7:6 on penalties.

Football Gala Exhibition Matches
The Football Gala exhibition match was played between Sumptuastic and the Football Stars, whose lineup included Dariusz Dudka, Marcin Wasielwski, Piotr Włodarczyk, Marcin Morawski, Marcin Kikut, Liber and Szymon Pacanowski. After a wonderful time on the field, the match ended in a 3:3 draw, and penalties decided the winner. The Football Stars proved more effective from the spot.
In the following matches of the exhibition tournament, the Football Stars defeated Bobrzanie Bolesławiec 4:3. The top-flight footballers drew 3:3 with the County Councillors' team. The match between Bobrzanie Bolesławiec and the County Councillors ended 4:0.

While thanking those who helped us, we also regret the limited interest shown by sponsors from the city and surrounding area, who apparently do not care about national-scale events being held in the city.
We hope that next year’s Football Gala will attract greater interest from sponsors, allowing for even better organization and a more ambitious event, which has already been added to the Polish Football Association calendar.
