On Tuesday (10 November), a sports complex was opened at the Przylesie housing estate, by the Parish of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus on Jarzębinowa Street in Bolesławiec.

The complex includes:

  • a multi-purpose court with a polyurethane surface, measuring 19.10 × 32.10 m
  • a football pitch with an artificial grass surface, measuring 30 × 62 m
  • an outdoor gym
  • two chess stations
  • a table football station
  • three stands with seats

The city authorities attended the official opening of the facility, including President Piotr Roman, who scored the first goal on the new pitch (video footage), Father Józef Hupa, MOSiR director Zbigniew Kowalczyk, young players and coaches from BKS Bolesławiec and Football Academy Bolesławiec, as well as representatives of the facility's contractor. The event was hosted by Damian Sawczak. After the opening ceremony, young football players tested the new pitch during training and exhibition matches.

Construction of the “Przylesie” Orlik cost PLN 1,568,401. The investment received PLN 470,000 in funding from the Ministry of Sport and Tourism.
