Cezariusz Rudyk apologizes to Jacek Lubiński

Jacek Lubiński, a former member of Obstawa Prezydenta, was angry that he appeared in a photograph published in the Bolesławiec Civic Platform's election newspaper. Cezariusz Rudyk, who was also in the photograph, apologizes and explains that it was an unfortunate coincidence.

In the Bolesławiec Civic Platform's election newspaper, an article about Blues nad Bobrem was accompanied by a photograph showing Cezariusz Rudyk and Jacek Lubiński. Both were members of the band Obstawa Prezydenta. This year, Cezariusz Rudyk ran for the City Council on behalf of Civic Platform, while Jacek Lubiński supported the incumbent mayor from Law and Justice. Jacek Lubiński is upset that the newspaper used this photograph because, in his view, it suggests that he supports Civic Platform.

As Cezariusz Rudyk explains, the text about Blues nad Bobrem did not indicate that Obstawa Prezydenta supports Civic Platform in the election. "It was not my intention to involve any of my friends from Obstawa Prezydenta in local politics. I would like to apologize to Jacek for this unfortunate coincidence," says Cezariusz Rudyk. "I accept the apology, and there is no issue," replies Jacek Lubiński.
