The municipality organized an asbestos removal campaign for the first time in 2012. Between 2012 and 2015, a total of 204 applications submitted by residents were processed. Eighty-two beneficiaries used the full range of services, including dismantling, transport and disposal, while a further 136 people were provided with transport and disposal of asbestos-containing products.
To carry out the project entitled “Removal of asbestos-containing products from the Rudna municipality”, the Municipality received a grant from the Regional Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management in Wrocław as part of the Priority Programme of the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management.
– If we receive another grant from the Regional Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management in Wrocław for 2016, we will continue the campaign, emphasizes Elżbieta Olszewska-Filip from the Environmental Protection, Water Management, Agriculture and Forestry Department of the Municipal Office.
Those interested are encouraged to submit applications for the removal of asbestos-containing products in 2016, so that the municipal authorities can apply to the Regional Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management for funding for this purpose as soon as possible.
