Member of the European Parliament Lidia Geringer de Oedenberg has announced a competition concerning the European Union. The competition aims to promote knowledge about EU funds and encourage participants to develop their own projects for establishing and growing small businesses. Participants are required to present their ideas for starting their own business. The organisers are looking for bold, original and innovative ideas. The main prize in the competition is a trip and a three-day visit to the European Parliament in Brussels or Strasbourg. Additional prizes include multimedia foreign-language courses.
Entries should be sent by 31 March 2007 to: Office of MEP Lidia Geringer de Oedenberg, Rynek 7, Pasaż Pod Błękitnym Słońcem, 50-106 Wrocław or by email to: lidiageringer@neostrada.pl – together with a legible signature and address, as well as consent to the processing of personal data for the purposes of the competition. Entries should not exceed two A4 pages. They may be handwritten (legibly), typed or computer-printed. People aged 14 and over may participate in the competition.
