The aim of the competition is to select craft businesses that comply with legal labour protection and occupational health and safety regulations when employing juvenile workers, as well as those that achieve the highest quality in students’ vocational education while implementing practical vocational training programmes.

Edmund Ostrowski (Ed-Bis) was named the best vocational teacher. Matylda Kryjak (Matylda Hair Salon) and Helena Kozioł (P.P.H.U. “Mama i Ja” Pensjonat “Zielony Dom” S.C. Helena) shared second place. Weronika Bitowska (Terma-Kork) received an honourable mention.
The ceremony was enhanced by performances by Natalia Hunik, a student of the Zespół Szkół Handlowych i Usługowych in Bolesławiec, and the “Mały Bolesławiec” Song and Dance Ensemble from the Stanisław Wyspiański Youth Cultural Centre (the group’s supervisor is Anna Idkowiak).
Moreover, that day Bolesław Buryła was honoured; this year he celebrates 40 years of running his business and belonging to the Guild.
