The first local election poll in Bolesławiec’s history has concluded. Throughout Sunday, 34 Bolesławiec.org interviewers conducted surveys outside polling stations. According to preliminary calculations, there will be a second round of the mayoral election. Piotr Roman (PiS) and Karol Stasik (PO) will face each other. According to the poll, Piotr Roman received 49.4% of the votes, while 21.1% of voters supported Karol Stasik. Due to the possible statistical error and Piotr Roman’s substantial lead, the actual result may differ from the poll. This means that after all the votes are counted, it may turn out that Piotr Roman has already won in the first round.

The next places in the poll were taken by: Józef Burniak (Lewica i Demokraci), with 17.7% of the votes; Wiesław Stefanik (Ziemia Bolesławiecka), 8.5%; Janusz Kalisz (Obywatelski Komitet Mieszkańców), 2.3%; and Tomasz Sobczyński, 1%.

City Council

According to the poll data, PiS won the city council election with 32.5% of the votes, narrowly ahead of PO, which received 31.9%. The remaining results were: Lewica-Demokraci, 17.2%; Ziemia Bolesławiecka, 12.3%; Liga Polskich Rodzin, 2.6%; Handel i Rzemiosło, 2.5%; and Obywatelski Komitet Mieszkańców, 1.1%.

County Council

In the county council election, the poll results point to a victory for PO. The party received 33.6% of the votes. PiS came second with 30.3%. Voters then supported Lewica i Demokraci with 19.2% of the votes, Ziemia Bolesławiecka with 11.7%, Handel i Rzemiosło with 2.5%, LPR with 1.9%, and Obywatelski Komitet Mieszkańców with 0.9%.

Lower Silesian Voivodeship Assembly

As voting is still under way in Milicz, we cannot provide the results for the Lower Silesian Voivodeship Assembly election. We will publish them after the polling station in Milicz closes.
