This exceptional concert is being held as part of celebrations marking the 70th anniversary of the migration of the Polish population to the Western Territories. Appearing before the Bolesławiec audience will be Anna Jurksztowicz, Krzesimir Dębski, the Lower Silesian Philharmonic Orchestra in Jelenia Góra, and the Wrocław Chamber Choir: the Choir of the Wrocław University of Environmental and Life Sciences and the University of Wrocław Choir Gaudium.

During the concert, the Society of Friends of Lviv and the Southeastern Borderlands in Bolesławiec will collect donations for Poles living in Ukraine.

On Friday, October 2, at 12:00 p.m., we invite you to the lecture “The Identity of Lower Silesians after World War II,” which will take place at Lower Secondary School No. 2 named after Poles Deported to Siberia, 5 Bielska Street. It will be accompanied by a photography exhibition entitled “Postwar Bolesławiec.”

The event is organized by the Municipality of Bolesławiec, the Bolesławiec Cultural Centre–International Ceramics Centre, the Society of Friends of Lviv and the Southeastern Borderlands in Bolesławiec, and SOLO Concert and Publishing Agency.
