53-year-old Romuald Kujawa replaced coach Andrzej Kisiel, who decided to resign from coaching after BKS's defeat against Polonia Trzebnica. Romuald Kujawa was first a footballer and later also a coach. He is very well known, especially in Lower Silesia. He played for clubs such as Śląsk Wrocław, Zagłębie Lubin and Miedź Legnica.

During his football career, he also appeared for the national team. This was in a friendly match between Poland and Finland in 1991. The match ended in a 1–1 draw. As a footballer, he played as a defender. The new coach faces a difficult task. After six rounds of matches, BKS's senior team is bottom of the table, with just one point. In the very next round, the team faces an away match against the difficult opponent Bielawianka Bielawa. There is no hiding the fact that the fans and the board hope that the new coach's experience and skills will have a positive impact on our team's performance.

We wish the new coach success and positive results in his work with the team. We also thank the departing coach Andrzej Kisiel for his work at the club and for all the sporting emotions and victories that we, as fans, were able to enjoy. Thank you, Coach.
