The Boleslawiec.org website conducted a week-long poll related to the upcoming local elections. In the poll, we asked the question, "Who is least suitable to be mayor?" The incumbent mayor received 42% of the votes. Józef Burniak came second in terms of users' dislike (28% of the votes). Internet users named Karol Stasik third (15%). Wiesław Stefanik (9%) and Janusz Kalisz (6%) took the subsequent places. The poll received 562 votes.
The poll is, of course, not a reflection of the electoral preferences of the entire Bolesławiec community. Nor can overly far-reaching conclusions be drawn from it. The poll is also not inherently perverse, as some people suggest in the comments. The question was worded this way to draw readers' attention to how important it is to read questions carefully before casting a vote.
