This is another investment in Legnica’s educational institutions, modernizing their sports facilities. A multipurpose sports field with a running track and long-jump pit has been built at Primary School No. 6. A volleyball court has been created nearby. Both courts and the track have synthetic surfaces.

A playground and an outdoor gym will be built in the school grounds’ square. All the facilities will be connected by a paved walkway. Bins and benches have been installed. The fencing has been renovated and partially replaced.

The cost of this investment (Modernization of sports facilities for conducting extracurricular sports activities for children and young people as part of preventive programs) is approximately PLN 780,000.

This new sports complex, created as part of the city’s educational facilities standardization program, will host, among other things, lessons and extracurricular activities במסגרת preventive programs. Residents of the surrounding housing estates will also be able to spend their free time actively and engaging in sports there.

In terms of the quality and availability of sports infrastructure, our city is a leader in Lower Silesia. This is already the 17th sports complex built in Legnica in recent years. They have been built, for example,

  • at the Integrated Schools Complex on Wierzyńskiego Street
  • at General Education Schools Complex No. 3 on Mazowiecka Street
  • at General Education Schools Complex No. 2 on Radosna Street

  • at Primary School No. 10 on Jaworzyńska Street
