The match between BKS and Piast Nowa Ruda began with an uninteresting, at times downright sleepy, display from both teams. Nothing noteworthy happened on the pitch during the first 30 minutes. The players rarely created any danger in front of the opposition goal. In the 12th minute, following a foul on our player, Ciliński’s free kick struck the visitors’ wall. In the 19th minute, Pietkiewicz played the ball to Michalkiewicz, but the latter failed to take advantage of the chance to score. In the 30th minute, the visitors’ player Woźniak took a dangerous shot. Toward the end of the first half, the players began to play with greater commitment. In the 36th minute, Michalkiewicz shot just over the crossbar of Piast’s goal. In the 42nd minute, the visitors’ standout player, Woźniak, responded with a good shot. The first half ended goalless.

While BKS created more scoring opportunities in the first half, in the second half the advantage began to shift toward the players of Piast Nowa Ruda. In the 66th minute, after a foul in our team’s penalty area, the referee awarded a penalty. The visitors’ player Woźniak converted it. From that moment, we were trailing 0–1. Once again, the course of the game was similar to that of the match against Łużyce Lubań. The BKS players desperately tried to recover the deficit, but they played very chaotically. Inaccurate passing and a lack of efficiency in finishing chances were glaring. In the 85th minute, we conceded a second goal after a goalkeeper’s mistake. BKS ultimately lost to Piast Nowa Ruda 0–2.
