At the week-long international festival, nearly 60 young dancers from the “Złote Dzieci”, “Złote Dzieci Mini” and “Spectro” groups took part. They presented the shows “Alice in Disco Land” and “The Elements”.
“We are proud and happy, but also a little tired,” says Monika Kuligowska, the group’s founder and coach. “We tried to represent our country and Legnica in the best possible way in Paris. And we succeeded. We thank everyone who supported us on the way to this success.”
After the very first competition showcase, it was clear that the group from Legnica stood out decisively for its variety of dance styles, costumes, stage props and choreographic preparation. It represents a very high standard.
“It was a great adventure for the children,” Monika adds. “They toured Paris with its wonderful monuments and the Eiffel Tower, and visited Disneyland. They really enjoyed the dance workshops led by outstanding professionals. And finally, this award. We are truly happy.”
