Officers from the Criminal Division of the District Police Headquarters in Bolesławiec detained two men suspected of stealing a bank card. The men beat the card’s owner. In this way, they wanted to force him to provide the PIN code.
The stolen card entitled them to withdraw PLN 1,400. The detainees are two residents of Bolesławiec County, aged 31 and 35. Both confessed to the acts of which they were accused. Theft is punishable by up to 5 years in prison.
