More precisely, these are “Job Kiosks”—public municipal computer stations that have so far mainly provided information about current events and matters concerning the city or county. Recently, they have also made it easy to look for employment.

The “Job Kiosk” displays job offers from the local area and beyond. If one of them seems interesting, we can apply by leaving our telephone number. An employment consultant will then contact us and conduct a brief, stress-free recruitment interview. “Job Kiosks” are a project of Loyd S.A., which, in cooperation with local government authorities, has launched nearly 70 such stations in southern Poland.

“Job Kiosks” use a program specially developed by Loyd S.A. and installed on publicly accessible municipal information devices. Thanks to the “Job Kiosks,” people looking for work can browse active job offers from the region, Poland and abroad. The software is very simple and intuitive to use, and will not cause problems for people unfamiliar with working on a computer.

“People interested in taking up employment will be able to enter their telephone number into the system. Consultants from Polski HR will then contact them by phone, conduct an initial recruitment interview and add the candidate to the database. When a suitable offer appears in the system, a representative of Polski HR will contact them again and invite them to participate in the next stage of recruitment,” comments Bartosz Kaczmarczyk, president of the Loyd S.A. Capital Group.

So far, “Job Kiosks” have been established in the Lower Silesian, Silesian, Subcarpathian and Lesser Poland Voivodeships, including in Krasnystaw, Andrychów, Sanok and Rymanów. Most recently, 40 such stations were launched in Bolesławiec, where Loyd S.A., in cooperation with the local government, installed the software on municipal information kiosks.

“It should be in every local government’s interest to activate as many of its residents as possible professionally, and the ‘Job Kiosks’ project makes this much easier. It should be noted that this initiative increases the reach and accessibility of job offers. ‘Job Kiosks’ are simple, user-friendly devices that genuinely help people find work. I encourage all residents to learn about them. I hope that the outcome of our cooperation will have a positive impact on our community and that many people will find employment,” comments Bolesławiec mayor Piotr Roman.
