Five fire service units extinguished burning cereal in a field in Iwiny on Wednesday, 29 July. The firefighting operation was hampered by the wind. There was also a risk that the fire would spread to the nearby forest. The firefighters managed to bring the blaze under control. A total of five fire service units took part in the firefighting operation: OSP Racioborowice, OSP Warta Bolesławiecka and three units from PSP Bolesławiec.
