On Sunday shortly before midnight, an unusual road accident occurred on the A-18 motorway. The driver of a Volkswagen Golf collided with an excavator. The 34-year-old was driving along a section of the motorway under repair that had been temporarily closed to traffic. The man was taken to hospital with open leg fractures. His car burned down.
