The workshop is intended for parents, grandparents, uncles, aunts and everyone who has contact with children and infants and wants to learn how to provide them with first aid.

At the workshop, you will learn:

  • how to assess the condition of a child and infant in the event of an accident
  • what to do when a child loses consciousness
  • how to perform basic life-saving procedures (the BLS action algorithm)
  • how to perform resuscitation on children and infants – CPR (Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation)
  • what to do in the event of an acute allergic reaction
  • how to respond effectively to massive bleeding
  • what to do in the event of thermal burns
  • how to help during seizures
  • how to respond to choking
  • what to do in the event of poisoning.

The workshop will be led by: physician Agnieszka Jalowska, pediatrician (University Clinical Hospital in Wrocław), and physician Bogumiła Trent, pediatrician (St. Hedwig of Silesia Hospital in Trzebnica).

Participation in the workshop is FREE!

The workshop will take place on Thursday, August 6 (from 5:00 p.m. to approximately 8:00 p.m.) at the Counseling Center's premises at 32 Orla Street (on the grounds of the parish of St. Maximilian Kolbe in Lubin).
