Bait containing the vaccine inside will be distributed from aircraft outside built-up areas. Please do not touch, pick up or destroy the laid baits. From 20 to 30 September 2006, the following regulations apply in the Lower Silesian Voivodeship:
- ban on hunting game with dogs
- ban on allowing dogs and cats to roam freely
- requirement to keep farm dogs tethered and cats indoors
Any case of human contact with the distributed vaccine must be reported to the health service, while any case of an animal coming into contact with the bait must be reported to the veterinary service.
Please exercise particular caution during the vaccination campaign.
